Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year Miller Elementary families! I’m honored to continue serving our community and representing our Mustang families as this year's PTA President.

For those that I haven’t met yet, my name is Lu and I am married to my wonderful husband Mike. This is a special year for us, as our youngest daughter is joining Miller. Dan is starting 4th grade and Angie is an incoming kindergartener. Yay! We are also proud parents of our two four-legged kiddos, Rowdy and Nala, my son's turtle pet Spot, and lastly my daughter’s beta fish Marshmallow.

We are full-time working parents, I am an IT consultant and my husband is a Realtor. We enjoy family time and spending time with our extended family and friends. Over the last few years, I volunteered at Miller, as hospitality chair and President, wearing many hats along the way. I love getting to know and relate with our Mustang families and staff. I look forward to continuing to serve our community and will do my best to honor and serve Miller.

I want to welcome our families to campus as we return to our routine. We have involved parents in our PTA and already have fun plans for the year ahead. As our board and chairs start getting the gears up and running, I wanted to share that our goal for this year is to: build our community, empower each other, and continue enjoying time with family and friends. Continuing to support our families, kids, and staff is a priority. We invite you to join our PTA and volunteer throughout the year to get to know more families.
